The Deputy Chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Glauk Konjufca, expects that the charges at the Hague’s Specialist Chambers against the leaders of the KLA will fail, because, according to him, they are slanders that deeply offend the KLA’s war, KosovaPress reports.
Konjufca expects that the KLA leaders will be found not guilty.
“They have not committed crimes; they were at the head of an army that was liberating and gave its martyrs. Anyone who tries to change this will truly fail, and I hope that all those on trial in The Hague will be found not guilty,” Konjufca said.
He also stated that he has applied to be present on the final day in The Hague.
“I will go again to The Hague; I will be there on the final day. I have applied to be there and will represent the people of Kosovo in that process… I expect this process, these charges, to fail. They are unsustainable, slanderous, lies that deeply offend our liberation war, and precisely because they will fail, I believe Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi, and Selimi will be found not guilty,” Konjufca said.
