The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has stated that he fully understands the remarks and criticisms of the States of America, which he said are appropriate since “The USA sees our country from a much higher level than we do”, but he emphasized that the relations between the two countries are nothing to worry about. He said that the USA sees Kosovo with a higher perspective and for this reason their criticisms should be understood.
After the end of the court hearing on the tear gas, Konjufca said that it is the right of Kosovo to extend its sovereignty to the country.
The President of the Assembly emphasized that America is concerned that the Serbs may become irritated and misuse the current situation.
Konjufca added that a common ground can be found between the two sides and that the government is doing this.
