The Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms (KMDLNj) considers that the situation in the north is serious and the freedom of movement of citizens is being conditioned. The chairman, Behxhet Shala says that the barricades set up by the local Serbs are hindering the schools, supply, access to public services and health. According to him, any action of the country’s institutions can be considered violent, but even the internationals will not allow such a thing.
This morning, another barricade of two trucks filled with gravel was placed on the main road Mitrovica – Zvecan, beyond the place called “Kershi i Dudes”.
The head of the Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms, Behxhet Shala, tells KosovaPress that the barricades are being managed by Belgrade.
