Soldiers of the NATO-led KFOR mission will continue their regular day and night patrols, ensuring a constant, stable, and reassuring presence both in the north of Kosovo and throughout the entire area of responsibility.
According to the announcement, KFOR personnel remain vigilant, maintaining situational awareness and promoting stability across the region.
“These ongoing activities reflect KFOR’s continued commitment to contributing to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo,” the KFOR statement said.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement at all times. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders.
