President Vjosa Osmani has denied that she has launched an election campaign during her visits to cities across Kosovo, reports KosovaPress.
She described these visits as “thank-you meetings,” which, she said, are meant to show appreciation for the support she has received from citizens during her mandate.
“I thank the citizens for their support, for the love they have shown us, for being by our side every day over these five years, and for the great honor they have given me to represent them both domestically and abroad throughout these years. These are simply thank-you meetings, as you saw in many of those we just held here.”
She made these remarks following a commemorative academy in Mitrovica, honoring the life and work of Latif Berisha, who was killed by Serbs.
President Vjosa Osmani was also asked about her relations with the leader of GUXO , Donika Gërvalla, but she declined to comment.
