On Monday morning, the handball players of the U17 Kosovo National Team played the first match within the Mediterranean Championship. In Nafplio, Greece, Kosovo faced Croatia.
In the first period of three in total, the National Team showed its potential, while after 15 minutes of play the score was equal, 8:8. In the second period, Croatia’s players were significantly more efficient, winning 12:2. The third period ended 9:6 for Croatia, which eventually won with a score of 29:16, KosovaPress reports.
In the afternoon, Kosovo U17 plays the second match, were it will face Spain, one of the favorites of the championship.
This is the 16th Mediterranean Championship for the U17 age group.
