From June 25 to 30 next year in Prishtina, the Women’s European Championship for Small Countries will be organized for the first time.
This event was entrusted to the Kosovo Basketball Federation by the FIBA board meeting, for which the secretary of KBF, Elvira Dushku says that they have already started preparations for building the national team, including the appointment of a new coach.
The KBF secretary reveals to KosovaPress that this federation has also won the right to organize the FIBA European U18 Championship.
In order to win the organization of such events, Dushku says that Kosovo has defeated the competition of many other countries, thanks to the great trust from the FIBA board.
The spectacle of international basketball in Kosovo next year will also continue in 3×3 basketball. Dushku reveals that three such events will be organized in Prishtina.
The organization of all these basketball matches during the next year will be held in the Palace of Youth and Sports, as well as in the “1 October” Hall, in Prishtina.
