Laura Fazli’s streak of three consecutive victories was stopped at the quarter-final stage of the World Judo Championship, which is being held in Doha, Qatar.
In the category up to 63 kilograms, Fazliu was defeated in the quarterfinals by the Slovenian judoka, Andreja Leski, KosovaPress reports.
However, the World Cup competition for Fazli will not end here, as our judoka continues in the repechage.
Fazliu will now fight for the bronze medal, where she will have the first repechage match against the Hungarian, Szofi Ozbas.
