Despite the low or no voter turnout in the snap elections for the four northern municipalities, new mayors can be elected in the four municipalities of Kosovo, such as North Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zveçan. So whatever the results in the December 18 elections, they will be certified by the Central Election Commission of Kosovo.
