Catholics celebrate Easter

Today Catholics celebrate Easter Day. The celebration of Easter is the greatest moment in the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church and other Christian churches.

On this day Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion, a resurrection that symbolizes faith in God, hope for all believers. Last night in the Cathedral “Mother Teresa” in Pristina, under the direction of the Bishop of the Bishopric of Kosovo, Dodë Gjergji, was held the ceremony of the Solemn Easter Mass. In honor of this holiday today in Kosovo at 11:00 a mass will be held at the Cathedral of Mother Teresa in Pristina.
