The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has welcomed the decision of the Government of Kosovo to postpone the reciprocity of license plates and ID cards issued by Serbia until September 1 and said that he expects the blockades set by the Serbs in the north to be removed immediately.
“We welcome Kosovo’s decision to move measures until September 1. I expect all roadblocks to be removed immediately,” Borrell wrote on Twitter.
He emphasized that the open issues should be addressed through dialogue facilitated by the EU and focusing on the comprehensive normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, essential for their paths of integration into the European Union.
