A 40-year-old man climbed to the roof of the Mitrovica Municipality building, trying to jump, but members of the police together with some municipal officials managed to persuade the person to come down unharmed. The incident happened around 13:00.
Mitrovica region police spokesman, Avni Zahiti, confirmed the incident to KosovaPress, saying that the police immediately went to the scene and with the help of some municipal employees, managed to convince the person in question to come down. Sources of KosovaPress have learned that the person who today threatened with suicide, was sent to the Psychiatry Department at UCCK for treatment.
