The Kosovo police in Ferizaj arrested a 25-year-old man for domestic violence, where his 23-year-old ex-wife suffered injuries.
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning, while the victim was sent for medical treatment to the emergency center in Ferizaj.
“Today, around 03:00 in the morning, the police station in Ferizaj received information that there was a case of domestic violence and bodily injury on the street “Dëshmorët e Kombit” in Ferizaj. In this regard, the investigating police officers of the Domestic Violence Unit immediately took the necessary actions, went to the scene and arrested the person G.SH (M/K) aged 25, who tried to enter violently in the apartment of his ex-wife SH.R (F/K) aged 23, causing bodily injuries. The victim has been sent to the Emergency Center in Ferizaj for medical assistance”, the police announcement states.
The police escorted the suspect to the police station in Ferizaj and after the interview, by the decision of the guardian prosecutor from the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Ferizaj, he was sent to detention for 48 hours for further investigative procedures.
The case has been described as “Domestic violence and bodily injury”.
