Over five thousand high school graduates take the State Matura Exam in the second session

5,480 high school graduates from across Kosovo are taking the State Matura Exam today, as part of the second session. The testing began at 10:00 AM and is being conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MAShTI), reports KosovaPress.

The exam is being held in schools throughout the country. At the “Sami Frashëri” High School in Prishtina, around 150 students are taking the second-session exam today.

The director of this educational institution, Betim Sylejmani, said that everything is going according to plan and that the process is being carried out in accordance with the established rules.

Sylejmani emphasized that at this school, students are divided into 10 different testing rooms. He also highlighted that continuous measures are being taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam and to prevent any form of cheating.

“As always, the second session of the state matura exam is being held at ‘Sami Frashëri’ High School. There are a total of 10 testing centers or rooms, with 150 students taking the exam. All preparations were made on time, the administrators arrived on time, and representatives from the ministry and the municipality are present… Measures are being taken by the Ministry of Education, with constant efforts to reduce various manipulations. There are improvements because students from the same class are not in the same testing room, which also contributes to reducing cheating and other issues,” Sylejmani said.

According to MAShTI, entry to the testing centers was closed at 10:00 AM.

The results of this session will be published on September 1, 2025, on the electronic platform e-Kosova.
