During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and in private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, were tested a total of 1,119 samples taken from the HUCSK, and tracking the contacts of cases in the field, 169 of whom tested positive. Within 24 hours, 2 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive, (1 case in Central Intensive Care, UCCK and 1 case in Infectious Diseases Clinic).
The total number of positive cases is 17,591 cases out of 85,042 people suspected of having the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and 659 death cases.
