Although the civil servants were also on strike, on Friday, September 30, their salaries for the month of September were paid. However, the education workers, who were also on strike, did not receive these salaries.
This was confirmed for KosovaPress by Ali Gashi, head of the Independent Trade Union of the Administration of Kosovo.
Gashi considers that not paying the salaries for teachers shows a tendency to blackmail and intimidate the SBASHK.
He said that salaries for civil services were paid on Friday, September 30, as the law foresees.
From August 25 to Saturday, the Public Administration workers were on strike, while from September 1, those in education joined them. But, for the latter who started the strike in September, the salaries have not been paid.
