The Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca paid homage to the grave of the hero Afrim Zhitia and Fahri Fazliu. On the 32nd anniversary of the fall of the two heroes, Konjufca mentioned the legacy of the martyrs “without falling with a rifle in hands, the freedom of Kosovo does not come”, which he says was the most important legacy of Afrim, Fahri and all the heroes and martyrs of the nation.
Konjufca stressed that their heroic deed was the first spark of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and that their legacy came alive in 1998 when thousands of men and women lined up alongside the glorious army which brought freedom and statehood to Kosovo. Konjufca also added that the deeds of Afrim Zhiti, Fahri Fazliu and all other martyrs will be an inspiration for their generation and future generations.
