The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 1,501 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 345 cases resulted positive. According to the institute, within 24 hours, 8 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive.
The total number of positive cases is 48,682 out of 171,154 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,248. During the last 24 hours, 436 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is 36,226 cases, while the number of active cases is 11,208.
