The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, congratulated Albania on its progress towards EU integration during the press conference he held with Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is on an official visit to Paris.
In his address to journalists, Macron reiterated France’s commitment in favor of Albania’s European commitment and, more broadly, the movement for the Western Balkans.
Meanwhile, speaking about Albania’s role in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the French president praised the role of official Tirana, saying that its voice is precious.
He said the normalization of relations between the two countries is necessary for the security of the Western Balkan region.
