Two serious cases involving injuries caused by a sharp object were reported in the village of Koshuticë, Leposaviq, during the early hours of December 10, 2025.
The first case was reported around 00:50, when two Kosovar female witnesses noticed a person lying in their yard with wounds on various parts of his body. The victim, a 40-year-old male Syrian citizen, was initially taken to North Mitrovica Hospital and then transferred to South Mitrovica Hospital for further treatment.
Later, around 11:05, the police received an additional report. The SPMK Jarinje unit, while patrolling in the same village, found another injured person — a 27-year-old Syrian male — with wounds on his head and legs, also suspected to have been caused by a sharp object. The victim stated that the incident occurred the previous night and that the suspect fled toward the border with Serbia.
Both victims were transported to South Mitrovica Hospital for further treatment, while police have launched an investigation and are searching for the suspect.
