The Basic Court in Prishtina has approved the request of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina for imposing a measure of one month detention against the defendant Labinot Gruda, due to the criminal offense of abuse of official position or authority.
The defendant was remanded in custody, because he can escape in order to evade criminal responsibility, and be inaccessible to the judiciary, and obstruct the course of criminal proceedings by influencing witnesses and other accomplices.
