The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that after the resignations of the mayors in the four northern municipalities, the last date according to the legal deadlines is December 18 for holding elections in these municipalities.
“We will once again sit down with our legal team to set the election date. In all likelihood, the election date will be December 18,” she said at a press conference.
The elections are expected to be announced this evening or tomorrow morning, Osmani stressed after the meeting with the representatives of the political subjects, adding that they are respecting the laws and deadlines regarding the organization of the elections.
