On the second day of the Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army, known as Martyrs’ Day, homages are paid today and a memorial academy are held. Tributes will be paid throughout Kosovo to the graves of the martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom of the homeland.
The homage ceremony begins in the morning with honors at the grave of the legendary commander Adem Jashari in Prekaz and the Martyrs’ Memorial in Marina. A recreational activity “Meeting offRoad Drenica” will be held in Skenderaj. On the occasion of the KLA Epopee, an exhibition with photos and videos will be opened, as well as a memorial academy will be held. The popular manifestation “Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army” ends tomorrow with the lighting of fires in Prekaz.
