The concept paper on the Vetting process in the justice system has already been sent to the Government and is expected to be voted on at the next meeting. This was announced by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, who said that the concept document contains five options of Vetting, but that the working group has recommended the combined option between legal and constitutional changes.
Haxhiu said that for this concept-document of Vetting, an extraordinary and intensive work has been done by the working group where the best international options have been examined. Haxhiu said that through the verification of integrity, professional evaluation and control of assets, the Vetting process will be fair and independent and effective.
