Today, the Specialized Chambers confirmed the indictment against the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and immediately after he was informed of this, as he had previously promised, he resigned from the post of President of the country. He said that under no circumstances will he allow the President of the Republic of Kosovo to appear before the court.
At a press conference, Thaçi said that this indictment against him and his comrades-in-arms, is the next price they have to pay for the freedom of the country and the people.
