The acting Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, Xhelal Sveçla accompanied by the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Rashit Qalaj, visited the Border Crossing Point in Merdare, to get closely informed about the progress and functioning of the cross-border traffic between the Rep. of Kosovo and that of Serbia.
Minister Svecla closely observed the facilities and infrastructure at this crossing point, which was financed in the amount of about 6 million euros by the EU, within the framework of the Integrated Border Management Agreements, singed in Brussels between the Rep. of Kosovo and that of Serbia.
