State Reserve case trial: Hajdari gives reasons for her absence in court

The acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has clarified her position regarding today’s court session in the case related to state reserves of goods. She emphasized that she has not received any official summons from the court for this session.

“For today’s court session regarding the state reserves of goods, I inform you that I have not received any summons from the Court! The moment I receive a summons from the Court for the next session, I will appear in court,” Hajdari wrote on Facebook.

Today, the initial hearing in the state reserves case failed to take place. In the absence of the acting minister, Rozeta Hajdari, and the defense attorney for the accused Irfan Lipovica, Feim Alaj, the initial hearing could not proceed.

The Basic Court of Prishtina had scheduled the initial hearing in the case against acting Minister Rozeta Hajdari, former Deputy Secretary Irfan Lipovica, Director of the Department of State Reserves Hafiz Gara, and businessman Ridvan Muharremi, with the damages caused estimated at around 3 million euros.

The case of the state reserves remains under judicial review, and the relevant institutions are expected to hold further sessions as the process continues.
