Former Kosovo Ambassador to the United States, Avni Spahiu says that due to the games and threats of the Serbia, the day when Kosovo and Serbia will reach a fnal agreement is far away. While the appointment of five diplomats to deal with the Balkans by US President Joe Biden is seen as an encouraging sign that the past will not be allowed to repeat itself and that soeone will oppose Russia’s and Serbia’s harsh discourse.
In an interview for KosovaPress, former Ambassador Spahiu also talks about the European Union’s approach to Kosovo, for which he wishes that the latter is not delayed as it was delayed in the 90s, when the Balkan butcher Slobodan Milosevic was tolerated to cause wars, crimes and massacres.
