The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, said that during the month of November there was a 15 percent reduction in electricity consumption, compared to last year. According to her, tens of millions of euros have been saved, whereas for the winter months it has been estimated that there will be imports worth 300 million euros.
In a press conference, she emphasized that so far more than 57 million euros have been disbursed in energy bills.
