Even the Municipal Assembly of Prishtina has commemorated the life and work of the Jashari family and the legendary commander Adem Jashari, for whom they said that Adem Jashari’s endurance comes to them as if it were an echo of the courage of the legendary Prometheus.
The solemn session on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the KLA Epic began with a minute of silence. Meanwhile, in front of those present, the mayor of Prishtina Municipality, Përparim Rama, said the name of the legendary Adem Jashari reminds them of the values and ideals of our nation.
Fatmir Sopi, representative from WVA (War Veterans Association) in Pristina, said that freedom was won thanks to the Jashari family.
The Municipality of Prishtina has opened an exhibition today. Meanwhile, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be other activities.
