The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that cooperation with allies, especially with the United States of America, should be the axis of actions taken by Kosovo.
The head of the country, after the meeting with the American emissary for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, said that the success of the dialogue with Serbia depends on the principled and equal approach of the European Union to the parties. In addition, Osmani emphasized that the stable and efficient implementation of the CBK Regulation is possible only in cooperation with allies, while she asked Serbia to extradite to Kosovo all the terrorists who were part of the attack in Banjska.
Kosovo, according to President Osmani, is committed to the dialogue process, but added that a balanced approach by the mediator is needed for the entire process to succeed.
She emphasized the need for the full implementation of the Brussels and Ohrid agreement, so that there is no selective approach only to certain of its articles.
Speaking about the CBK regulation, which prohibits the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo, Osmani said that its stable and efficient implementation is possible in cooperation with allies.
On the other hand, Osmani asked Serbia to extradite all the terrorists who were part of the attack in Banjska.
Osmani also spoke about the process of removal of the mayors in the four northern municipalities, for which she said that this process is going according to the foreseen deadlines.
