This was said at the opening of the European Union conference which is being held in Pristina for media education “Constructive Journalism: Empowering Informed and Resilient Societies”.
The head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, stated that this conference is a proof of the commitment to face the most important issues for disinformation.
He added that a recent study highlights the susceptibility to disinformation, including professionals in journalism.
The Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci emphasized that media education and the fight against disinformation is a phenomenon that Kosovo is facing every day.
Nagavci emphasized that efforts are being made to introduce media education as a subject in schools in Kosovo.
