Kosovo municipalities have implemented only 39 percent of the recommendations of the National Audit Office during the 2023/2024 audit season.
This was announced by the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) during the publication of a comprehensive analysis of the NAO report.
KDI Director Ismet Kryeziu said that the level of implementation of NAO recommendations has decreased last year.
Auditor General Vlora Spanca said that the local level lags more in implementing NAO recommendations.
She said that at the central level and independent agencies, implementation is more satisfactory.
