The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kosovo, Rifat Latifi, met with Albanian doctors and health professionals who live and work in Norway. The meeting in the form of conversation was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Oslo, where various topics and issues of Kosovo health were discussed.
According to a MoH press release, special emphasis was placed on identifying forms and possibilities for health professionals living abroad to contribute to the transformation of Kosovo’s health.
Minister Latifi said that since Norway has a very advanced health system, such cooperation enables the exchange of experiences or expertise with health professionals in Kosovo, starting with doctors, nurses and others.
Minister Latifi unveiled to the audience in detail the seven main pillars of the transformation of the health system of Kosovo and the priority projects through which this transformation will be possible.
Further, the meeting continued in the form of conversation where the participants asked questions about various health issues in Kosovo and gave valuable suggestions for addressing them.
