The European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will visit Kosovo tomorrow. Over the three days he will hold a series of meetings with institutional leaders and political leaders. Although the request made by the Kosovo side to the EU mediator to visit the state archives, including those related to the KLA, is mentioned, it is not known whether Lajçak will do such a thing. The Government of Kosovo and the European Union have not confirmed for KosovaPress that Lajçak will visit the state archives. His frequent visits to Kosovo are seen as more routine and without anything concrete from the opposition and civil society.
The MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bekim Haxhiu says for KosovaPress that the approach of the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti in relation to the dialogue and the tendency to open the archives of Kosovo will seriously damage the process of clarifying the fate of the missing persons, because according to him , the excuses that Serbia will use for this issue are known.
