The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti said that today at 10:15 the block B2 of TPP ‘Kosova B’ has been put in operation. It’s capacity is 245 MW and for every hour there will about 50 thousand euros less import, and until tomorrow morning about 1.2 million euros less than during the days of the week we are leaving behind. Kurit wrote on Facebook that yesterday, 1 MWh cost 200 euros on the international energy exchange.
“Today at 10:15 the B2 block of TPP ‘Kosova B’, with capacity of 245 MW, has ben put in operation. The synchronization was done last night at 23:55, the condition of the turbine is good and there was no need for balancing. In other words, for every hour we will pay about 50 thousand euros less for import, and until tomorrow morning about 1.2 million euros less than during the days of the week that we are leaving behind”…
