The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has called on the justice system to urgently address war crimes.
In front of the government cabinet, at Tuesday’s meeting, he said that war crimes never expire, but according to him, it is important that they be addressed as soon as possible, since the witnesses are getting old and are dying.
Kurti announced that only during the first three months of this year, the Kosova Police interviewed 169 witnesses of war crimes.
In addition, Kurti called on citizens to respond positively to the population census, which is expected to begin on April 5.
