The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that the government headed by him is undertaking the actions that should have been taken 11 years ago. He said that they are determined to implement the agreements in the north of the country and that from September 1 the implementation of the government’s decision will begin.
In the session of the Assembly, Kurti said that under the current circumstances, the decision to postpone the implementation of the agreement for 30 days is the right one.
According to Kurti, the opposition should not act to rush the implementation of the agreement when they have not done such a thing for 11 years when they were in power.
“Better on September 1, 2022 than never, it was best to have been in 2011 when you agreed in Brussels. You have to keep in mind that they cannot act the rush in the month of August vacations for something that is already 11 years old,” he said.
