The survivor of sexual violence, Vasfije Krasniqi, considers it disappointing the impunity of Serbian criminals for sexual violence during the last war. She says that for crimes committed in Kosovo by Serbs, Albanians are facing imprisonment more. Krasniqi told KosovaPress that the women and men who survived this crime do not even have the courage to apply for status recognition, fearing of being identified.
The first woman who spoke publicly about sexual assault says she is convinced she will never get justice. However, she says she has the strength to raise her voice for other survivors.
