Ilir Meta could become the first dismissed president of Albania, since the country overthrew communism. The issue of his dismissal is expected to be finalized by the Constitutional Court, which has three months to review this case. The expert on political issues and well-known professor, Milazim Krasniqi, in an interview for KosovaPress said that it is unfortunate that Meta is ending his political career as a divisive factor.
According to Krasniqi, Meta made successive mistakes, which cost him today. 104 MPs of the Albanian Parliament voted the initiative for the dismissal of the Albanian president, 7 others were against, while three of them abstained.
