The Government of Kosovo has voted to negotiate an agreement with the state of Israel in the field of archives. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrullah Çeku said that this action is an indicator of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
At today’s meeting of the Government, the Cabinet has approved the initiative to negotiate a cooperation agreement in the field of archives between the State Agency of Archives of Kosovo and Yad Vashem, the Authority for the Remembrance of Martyrs and Holocaust Heroes.
Ceku said that this is a continuation of the agreements that have already been reached with Israel in the field of culture.
“This is an important moment of strengthening our bilateral cooperation with the state of Israel and specifically in the field of culture and is a continuation of the agreements that have already been reached, a few days ago we signed agreements in the field of cinematographic co-production with the Government of Israel. We will be committed to further deepen our cooperation in culture and other areas,” said Ceku.
