The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, in the solemn session in honor of the 15th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, declared that today unites us all, because it is the highest point of the statehood effort so far.
He commemorated the martyrs for their sacrifices for the country’s freedom. The head of the Assembly said that the missing, the violated and the tortured, as well as those who spent thousands of years in prison for freedom, are not forgotten.
Konjufca emphasized that the KLA war was the necessary war of the people, which was crowned with the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
