For the first time, municipalities with a Serbian majority will also be included to apply for notaries, thus extending the notary service, as far as the sovereignty of Kosovo extends. This is what the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said at the certification ceremony of the candidates who passed the notary exam.
Minister Haxhiu says that as a minister so far it has not been possible for her to appoint as notaries the candidates who took the notary exam in the 2019 process, which was a process with internal and external interference. She adds that the process seems unfair to young notaries, because the task for them has been very difficult, despite the 2019 exam.
Meanwhile, the chairwoman of the Commission for giving the notary exam, Filloreta Lekiqi, wished that everyone would have the opportunity to practice the profession as soon as possible and do it with honor and professionalism.
Only 59 candidates out of 437 passed the notary exam, who were certified today by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu.
