The president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, has said that the protection of the land and the environment is the protection of health, life and well-being on earth.
In marking Earth Days, she said waste management is the guarantee to face environmental challenges.
In order to promote a waste-free environment, an unfinished playground structure has been introduced, which has been created by recycling and reconstructing single-use plastic units.
Osmani said that the biggest environmental challenges are climate change, air pollution, waste treatment, deforestation and water pollution.
