At the 33rd meeting in 2023 of the Central Election Commission that was held today (Wednesday), the political party “Srpska Demokratija” was officially registered in the Republic of Kosovo.
In this meeting, it was also said that the Kosovo Agency of Statistics on November 29 of this year has requested from the CEC about 700 ballot boxes which will be used for the Census of the Economic Family and Housing Population (REKOS).
Besnik Buzhala from the Office of Political Parties, said that after receiving the application, the office reviewed these documents and the list of signatures was also verified by the secretary of the CEC, where the party also paid the registration fee. Everyone voted in favor of accepting this political party.
CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi said in a statement that he has received 4 e-mails from some citizens requesting the removal of the mayor of 4 northern municipalities. He said that the citizens will receive the answer very quickly by making it known publicly.
On the proposed agenda was the review and voting of two minutes 31 and 32, office activities, council reports, which were approved.
