Balkan News Agencies in Kosovo Discuss COVID and Investment Possibilities in Kosovo

The proceedings of the 29th Convention of the General Assembly of the Alliance of Balkan Agencies (ABNA) have begun with the screening of a documentary on the life and work of the journalist and director of the Bulgarian news agency BTA, who was also the Secretary General of the World Congress News Agency of Bulgaria, Maxim Minchev.

The owner of KosovaPress News Agency, Skënder Krasniqi has opened today’s works that are being held in Prishtina and has commemorated his and the agency’s friend, Maxim Minchev.

Krasniqi: We are discussing COVID and the possibility of investing in Kosovo

“In the first panel we will discuss the situation with COVID-19 in general, while in the second panel we will have Kosovo institutions that will speak in part, both about tourism and opportunities to visit and invest in Kosovo. While in the third panel we will talk about what will happen after COVID is over, how we should react because during this situation the impact of COVID as we have seen so far can change our work policies, engagement, whether through online or other forms “, said Krasniqi.

“Media and News Agencies in the PostCovid era”, is the topic that marks this year’s ABNA assembly and is being held in Kosovo under the organization of the KosovaPress News Agency.

The agencies of the 12 Balkan countries are staying in Kosovo, where they will discuss the pandemic and the impact it has had on the work of the media.

Their reception took place yesterday at an event at the Museum of Kosovo, where the participants were closely acquainted with the history of the country.
