The incumbent government has held a virtual meeting in which it has made several decisions. The first document that has received the approval of the Government in today’s meeting is the Program for Economic Reform 2021-2023. A program which will be sent for information to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and the European Commission Liaison Office in Kosovo.
The Government has reviewed and approved the decision to postpone until 30.04.2021 the freezing of bank accounts of taxpayers who have tax obligations, to the Tax Administration of Kosovo. This measure will facilitate the exercise of economic activity of all taxpayers, in the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision will be in force until 30.04.2021, and according to it the penalties are removed for all taxpayers who have unpaid tax obligations in the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), if they make the payment of basic tax and interest until 30.06.2021.
