The Kosovo Correctional Service and the Health Department of Prisons have announced that in the Regional Hospital of Gjilan, prisoner A.F. has died.
According to the announcement, the deceased was being treated for a long time at the Gjilan Detention Center Health Station for previous cardiological problems.
“He had stents placed and was under the supervision of cardiologists, being treated according to their recommendations. The competent bodies are developing the necessary legal procedures, while the autopsy will determine the exact cause of death”, reads the announcement.
