A person has been arrested in Fushë Kosovë on suspicion of attempted murder following a dispute that ended with gunfire.
Police said the incident occurred on March 12 at around 04:25 PM. The suspect and the victim, both Kosovo men, initially engaged in a physical fight, after which the suspect fired a weapon in the direction of the victim, KosovaPress reports.
During the altercation, both individuals sustained bodily injuries. The suspect was released after receiving medical treatment, while the victim continues treatment in hospital.
At the scene, police confiscated a gas pistol, a magazine, 10 gas cartridges and three shell casings, while another 10 cartridges were found in the suspect’s bag. By decision of the prosecutor, the suspect has been placed in detention.
