On August 10, 1998, Bekim Berisha, nicknamed “Abeja” as one of the fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army, fell heroically after a few hours of fighting with Serbian forces.
Bekim Berisha was born on June 15, 1966 in the village of Graboc in Peja. The martyr’s grandfather, Nexhip Selmani, had fought against the Serbian occupiers for years.
